What a week of great concerts at neat venues...

Calexico at The Allen Room last night was a really outstanding show. The Allen Room is just gorgeous - behind the stage is a wall of glass looking directly out onto Columbus Circle and Central Park South. Members of Beirut joined Calexico for part of the show, as did a singer from Barcelona whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, but she was great.

I'm seeing Neko Case in a few weeks as a part of the same series and CANNOT wait. It's gonna be fantastic.

Saturday night brings me to Lily Allen at Webster Hall...and the beat goes on...
